24-hour Taco Bell Cantina restaurant is slated to open this fall

The two-story restaurant will serve offerings exclusive to Cantina restaurants, including tapas and alcoholic beverages.

As part of its expansion into urban markets, Taco Bell is heading to Las Vegas to open a flagship restaurant on the Strip.

The 24-hour, two-story restaurant is modeled after the chain’s Cantina restaurant concept, which serves alcohol and exclusive tapas-style menu items. It will feature “unique décor, an open kitchen layout, community seating and shareable menu items,” according to a release.

“Expansion into urban markets is a key focus for us both this year and over the course of the next several years,” said Brian Niccol, chief executive officer at Taco Bell Corp. “When we talked about where to establish a flagship store, it didn’t take long to realize that having a presence in the heart of Vegas would undoubtedly create a unique, distinctive and fun destination and experience for Taco Bell fans.”

The Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina, slated to open in the fall, will be located on Harmon Retail Corner, across from CityCenter and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel. It promises guests “a dining atmosphere fit for the lifestyle of the Vegas Strip, inclusive of experiences that are uniquely Taco Bell.”

This announcement comes just months after the chain unveiled four new restaurant designs inspired by local communities, which makes its debut this summer.

Taco Bell Opens Its Most Tricked Out Location Ever In Las Vegas

Soon after news broke that Taco Bell was going to serve booze at its newest location in Chicago, we crossed our fingers the rest of the chain would follow suit. Because who doesn't want a beer with their chalupa? Well the fast-casual Mexican brand is doing us one better with its latest restaurant in Viva Las Vegas.

At the two-story flagship parked on the Vegas strip, you can find eight different freeze flavors&mdashmargarita, cola, piña colada, lemonade, orange, Baja blast, cherry, blue raspberry&mdashall of which can be spiked with hard liquor. Plus plenty of beer on tap.

There's even a DJ booth and VIP lounge at this super swanky, neon-lit cantina. And, in true Vegas fashion, it's always open.

And how could we forget all of the insanely kitschy merch, including foam taco hats, hot sauce towels, fiery bikinis, frosted shot glasses, and retro logo trucker hats. Some of the gear you can snag online if you're unable to make the trip to Sin City, but we can't deny that the all-hours appeal and spiked slushes would probably be worth the trek.
