A quick and extremely tasty appetizer.

  • 8 slices of baguette
  • 2 suitable tomatoes
  • a clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5-6 olives kalamata
  • 4-5 basil leaves or a teaspoon of dried basil
  • a pinch of salt and pepper

Servings: 8

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Mediterranean Bruschetta:

Crush the garlic as small as you can and mix it with the olive oil and a pinch of salt. Fry the slices of baguette (I put them under the grill for a few minutes) until they turn golden and then grease with the oil obtained with a kitchen brush.

Cut the tomatoes, peel them, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces. Chop the olives and basil and mix all the ingredients with a pinch of salt and pepper. Put a teaspoon of the tomato composition over the baguette slices, sprinkle with a little olive oil and ready to serve.

You can crush a little feta cheese.
